Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Olga Apryshkina, trading as Thrive Hub, Mittlerestrasse 26, 4056 Basel, Switzerland (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the personal data described here. For anything privacy-related, contact info@thrive-hub.org. The website’s technical operation is handled by an independent contractor acting as our data processor under a data-processing agreement.

2. What we collect and why

The self-assessment. Our optional 20-question self-assessment asks about how you respond to pressure, rest and demands on you. Because these answers relate to your wellbeing, we treat them as sensitive (health-related) data under the Swiss nFADP and Article 9 of the GDPR. We process them only with your explicit consent (the box you tick before starting), and we receive your name, email and aggregated category scores — not your individual answers, which are scored in your browser and never sent to us. It is a self-reflection tool, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

The chat assistant (“Mira”). Mira answers general questions about Thrive Hub. Conversations are anonymous; please don’t share sensitive information there. Messages are processed by Anthropic (Claude API) to generate replies, with a per-visitor rate limit. To keep the assistant accurate and safe, anonymous transcripts are kept in a short-term quality log that we review internally; it is deleted automatically after 30 days.

Booking a call. Discovery calls are scheduled through Calendly, which collects your name, email and chosen time under its own privacy policy.

Website basics. Our host (Netlify) processes technical data such as IP addresses in server logs for security and delivery. We run no advertising and no cross-site tracking.

Cookies — we don’t use any. This site sets no cookies at all, which is why you are not asked to accept any. The only thing kept in your own browser is what the chat assistant needs while you use it: a reference so your conversation holds together, and a note that you closed its invitation so it doesn’t reappear. That stays on your device, is never sent anywhere as an identifier, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Visit statistics. We keep anonymous counts of how the site is used — how often each page is opened, roughly how long pages are read and how far they are scrolled, which buttons and outgoing links are used, which of our pages people arrive at, move between and leave from, which kind of site or campaign link a visit arrived from (for example a search engine or a social network — never the full address), your country, and how many people start and finish the assessment or book a call. These are totals only, counted against fixed categories. Nothing is stored on your device for this: no cookie, no identifier of any kind, and no record of an individual visit. To count how many different people visit on a day, our server briefly derives a one-way code from connection data; the code cannot be turned back into you, changes completely every day so days can never be linked, and is reduced to a plain number and deleted shortly after — the same consent-free method used by privacy-first analytics such as Plausible and Fathom. The figures cannot be traced back to you, and we do not use any third-party analytics service.

3. Who helps us process data

Netlify (hosting), Anthropic (AI chat replies), Resend (transactional email of your assessment summary to us) and Calendly (scheduling). Some process data outside Switzerland/the EEA (notably the US); where they do, transfers rely on recognised safeguards such as the EU–US / Swiss–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

4. How long we keep it

Assessment emails (name, email, scores): up to 24 months, then deleted. If you become a member, your data is kept as part of that relationship and its legal retention duties. Chat history is not linked to your identity: it lives in your own browser for the duration of your visit, and an anonymous copy stays in our quality log for up to 30 days before automatic deletion.

5. Your rights

Under the nFADP and, where applicable, the GDPR you can at any time ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, withdraw consent, object to or restrict processing, receive your data in a portable format, and complain to a supervisory authority (in Switzerland, the FDPIC). To exercise any of these, email info@thrive-hub.org — deletions are honoured within 30 days.

6. Children

Thrive Hub is intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

7. Security

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Credentials and API keys are stored server-side only. We collect the minimum we need — the assessment deliberately sends aggregated scores rather than raw answers.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves; the current version always lives on this page, with its date at the top.

Terms of Use

1. Who runs this site

This website is operated by Olga Apryshkina, trading as Thrive Hub, Mittlerestrasse 26, 4056 Basel, Switzerland. By using the site you accept these terms.

2. Coaching, not healthcare

Thrive Hub provides coaching, movement classes, coworking and wellbeing support. Nothing on this site — including the self-assessment, the chat assistant, articles or class descriptions — is medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, and none of it is diagnosis or treatment. If you are experiencing a health problem, are in crisis, or are under professional care, please speak to a qualified healthcare professional. Our services complement professional care; they never replace it.

3. The self-assessment

The assessment is a self-reflection tool based on your own answers. Its results describe patterns, not conditions. You use it voluntarily; related data is handled per the Privacy Policy above.

4. The AI assistant

The chat assistant (“Mira”) is an automated AI. It answers general questions about Thrive Hub on a best-efforts basis and is designed to decline medical or clinical questions. AI answers can be imperfect — confirm anything important with us directly. Membership terms, prices and availability are only ever confirmed by us in person, never by the assistant.

5. Booking and membership

The free discovery call carries no obligation. Membership terms (duration, inclusions, pricing, cancellation) are agreed personally and in writing before you join; this website is informational and does not itself form a membership contract.

6. Intellectual property

The Thrive Hub name, logo, texts and imagery on this site belong to us or our licensors. You’re welcome to share links; please don’t republish content without asking.

7. Acceptable use

Please don’t misuse the site: no attempts to break, overload or probe it, no scraping of personal data, no abusive content in the chat, and no automated bulk submissions to our forms.

8. Third-party links & services

Some features rely on third parties (for example, Calendly for booking) and we may link to other sites. We’re not responsible for their content or how they handle your data — their own terms and privacy policies apply.

9. Liability

The site is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the site or reliance on its informational content. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes and applicable law

We may update these terms; the current version lives on this page. They are governed by Swiss law, with Basel, Switzerland as the place of jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules provide otherwise.
